Ismail Ariffin is a serial entrepreneur passionate about helping traditional businesses evolve through the power of AI. As the Founder of Voltage, he envisions a world where innovation becomes second nature, empowering companies to scale intelligently, elevate customer experiences, and create meaningful impact within their communities.

Before founding Voltage, Ismail served as the Director of ThinkX, leading innovation programmes across Asia in Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bangkok. In Singapore, he taught at top institutions such as Raffles Institution and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, equipping youth with the tools to think creatively and build ventures that matter. Having explored innovation hubs across the world, including San Francisco, Hong Kong, New York, and Kenya, Ismail gained first-hand insight into emerging technologies and entrepreneurial ecosystems that shape his global perspective today. He later extended this impact by organising an entrepreneurship service programme in Nepal, where he empowered over 200 students to build micro-enterprises that strengthen local economies and create lasting change. Previously, he founded Trident Digital, a marketing and brand consultancy that achieved Singapore SME 500 recognition, grew into a 25-person international team, and generated over seven figures in total revenue.

A TEDx speaker and ardent Toastmaster, Ismail holds a Bachelor of Business Management with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Strategy from Singapore Management University.
